Membership Levels

Full Member

Individuals with 5 or more peer-reviewed publications in non-predatory journals in health and nature or a related field or their equivalent may apply for full membership.  All full members receive voting rights and may hold leadership positions within the organization. $100 annual membership fee.

Associate Member

Individuals who are not trainees and do not meet the requirements for full membership may join as associate members.  Associate members may not vote or hold leadership positions in the organization but receive all other rights and privileges of membership. $100 annual membership fee.

Trainee Member

Individuals who are enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education (including undergraduate and graduate students) may join as a trainee member as well as post-doctoral fellows. Trainees may not vote or hold leadership positions in the organization but receive all other rights and privileges of membership. $25 annual membership fee.

Membership FAQs

Q: Why is full membership in the Alliance restricted to people with publications?

A: The Alliance is developing a research home for health and nature work. While all people can join at one level of membership, full membership is restricted to individual with at least 5 peer-reviewed publications. Other organizations like the Children in Nature Network are open for non-researchers.

Q: Is membership open to people throughout the world?

Yes, there is no limitation on residency though initial conference will most likely be held in North America.
