American Nature and Health Survey
The American Nature and Health Survey is the first nationally representative survey in more than a decade designed to better understand how people in the United States experience nature in their daily lives. The survey examines Americans’ relationships with nature, including how often they spend time outdoors, where and how they engage with nature, the factors that influence those experiences, and their connections to health and well-being.
This report presents key findings from the inaugural American Nature and Health Survey and establishes a new national baseline to inform research, policy, practice, and community efforts that expand equitable opportunities to experience the benefits of nature.
